We've just uploaded all the photos from this afternoon's photo shoot of the last batch of Christmas & holiday scent for this year and though it was a lot of work, long hours, tired feet, sore back, it's so worth the effort, sweat and lack of sleep to do all those wonderful scents for the holiday listing. This year's offerings are comprised of the following
Black Forest, Peter Peter Pumpkin Eater, Tobacco Road, White Christmas,Make Mine Chocolate!, Coffee & Cream, Bourbon Chaser and last but most definitely not least, Christmas Cheer.
It's a bittersweet moment to cut that last batch, post that last picture, release it out into the ether and hope everyone loves it enough they simply have to have it. I love what I do, these batches are dreamed of, thought through long and hard. A pro-con debate goes on for quite a while before it comes to pass - or not. It's hard to let go of an idea, particularly one that deeply resonates with me for whatever reason, but sometimes it has to be that way. There are valid reasons to not do a project, but by contrast, there are also many excellent reasons to give it a go. Ultimately, all of these listed batches were green-lighted for this year with all the best of intentions, lots of thought & love going into each one and we can safely say they are all supremely top-performing soaps that clean, scent you without overwhelming you and your family and leave your skin feeling pampered, not dried out.
So now we look into the future and decide what we're going to do beginning possibly as early as next week for our January-March releases. We will be restocking Hibiscus Peach for sure. Also returning is Earl Grey Tea, a refreshing splash of fragrance that's a dead-on tea scent. There are a couple of new scents that look truly phenominal for bath & body as well as home fragrance items including Cranberry-Fig. This one is a new scent from a well-established supplier located on the west coast. When I breathe in this fragrance it's dewy green stems & leaves, tart cranberry and deeper juicier notes - very memorable, totally addicting because one sniff just isn't enough. I'm looking forward to working with this fragrance. I can easily imagine this as a candle, a body wash, even a body butter or cream.
